Christmas
How time flies, it’s already the end of January and I have not even written about Christmas yet. Sorry. Once again the world turns and I try to keep up, none too successfully.

 

House boy Christmas was fairly low key this year. I think 2008 had taken in toll on all of us and master decided to host a relaxed calibration.  We started with presents of course.

Well perhaps I should set the scene; master dressed in a suit, slippers and a pipe in his hand. NHB and me where dressed in school uniform; grey shirt, school tie, grey jumper, grey shorts and grey socks. (Before I get in trouble, and feel a slipper, I should say that the slippers and pipe where for effect and not real).


So sitting on the floor NHB and I were able to open our presents to the sound of carols on the wireless, chestnuts roasting on the fire and the warm light of fairy lights all around. The presents were very nice and useful.


NHB and I cooked roast dinner in the evening, with all the trimmings. I even had a token sprout, though NHB declined the delicacy. Somehow we still had room for a chocolate Christmas putting! Well we can’t be 100% traditional can we?

Your 2008 Christmas
Hello Smart House Boy -I love the pic of you in school uniform. You do look very smart. If you got the slipper or 
any other cp for misdemeanours that is as it should be .Punishment for House Boys should result from failure to keep high standards but rewards also for excellent work. I wish I had been with you and NHB during Christmas. Any 
chance of seeing more pics of you in school uniform? Good luck.
